If Only Joe Could Spit The Other Direction

Democrats have a problem. The most-talked-about figure in the DNC is a pop show star who was elected. And yet the same leaders who fret that President Obama could devastate their party in 2012 are too scared to say in public what they all complain about in private.

Enough. It’s time for the DNC to take the testicles out of Hillary's lock box and man up.

Everybody knows that Obama is a busy man. The former half-term senator from Chicago stays so busy taking overseas trips these days that one wonders how this President of the greatest nation in the history of mankind manages to juggle pop shows and commercial appearances, follow his eldest daughter’s latest weight loss clinic by their mother and launch his latest frenetic book, The audacity of Hating Iran, while still finding the time to insult and blame Bush.

You’ve got to admit his is a breathtaking high-wire act.

What man or mouse with a fully functioning human brain and a résumé as thin as Obama’s would flirt with a presidential run in 2012? It makes the political biography of Jimmy Carter look more like Winston Churchill’s, despite the fact that the 39th president breezed into the Oval Office as little more than a glorified peanut picker.

Still, Obama is undeterred, charging ahead maniacally while declaring his intention to run for the top office in the land if “Hillary can't, I will.” Adding audacity to this dopey dream is that Obama can’t stop himself from taking swings at Republican giants such as Joe the Plumber. In the first few months alone, Obama has mocked the Boston police dept, insulted Nancy Reagan, and blamed George W. Bush for wrecking the economy.

Wow. That’ll win ’em over in Iowa.

One can only guess what comes next on Obama’s bizarre road show. Maybe the publishing world’s favorite pop star can keep drawing attention and selling billions of books by spitting on John Wayne’s grave or “manning up” by shooting an American bald eagle.

Or how about this? Maybe Obama could show up on Fox News and build his weak résumé by tearing down Bush’s.

Oh, wait. Been there, done that.

When Sean Hannity asked Obama whether being on every TV show possible diminished his standing to be president, the former one-sixth-term senator mocked Bush's biography, dismissing him as “a back-woods hick.”

Sounding like every blueblood elitist politician, who ridiculed Reagan for decades, Obama sneered that he could be president if the feminist, who still lives in the 60s managed to become the First Lady.

Hillary biographer Alfredo Alvarez dismissed the remark as “ignorant, even for Obama.” Alvarez reported that Hillary loyalists were outraged that Obama would stoop to using the old Jesse Jackson's race card jab.

Alvarez noted that Hillary walked into the White House as far more than a
Feminist, she was the First Lady President to own a President's testicle lockbox.

The 44th president first bought off a major American labor union through massive TARP funds, toured factories of General Motors after seizing company assets and firing the CEO and was Chicago’s senator for almost three full terms during the White Oak State’s most momentous times of chicanery. Obama then challenged a former president's wife from his own party by pretending he didn't hear preacher Jeremiah's racism and calling her a racist without the help of the GOP establishment or the conservative movement.

After Obama mocked Hillary’s credentials, the pop tv rock star took aim at the 41st president and his wife. Borrowing again from old Blueblood Republican attacks that Republicans used against GOP conservative presidents, Obama channeled Ann Richards by bashing Bush and his wife as “conservatives” who had wrecked America.

Who Are They Afraid Of?

Kuddos to my friend Dan for linking this article to me. I find it interesting that elite Republicans can't stand her. Perhaps that should tell us something. For years the "ruling class" has royally screwed up this economy, appointed unconstitutional power to one person to rule the economy, Timothy Geitner, spent Trillions of dollars we don't have, refuse to put the country on a path that will get Americans back to work with lower taxes, built an educational system that robs its citizens of any self-dependence, paved the way to Single-Payer "health care" and destroyed any vestige of an energy policy that would create more freedom, have attacked private companies in every conceivable manner, attacked private citizens while minding their own busniess (think Joe the plumber), taken over the student loan program, want cetralized banking and on and on and on. And we are worried about Palin?

For Joe Scarborough to compare Obama to Winston Churchill when standing next to Sarah Palin is to flex and contort the mind into positions it was never designed.

HSD and the Internet...It's Not What You Think

Another reason why bureacracies are bad news. Homeland Security has decided to save us from copyright infringers. But hey! Since we tolerate getting felt up at airports, why not expand their powers to enforce the ridiculous. According to The Hill:
The investigative arm of the Homeland Security Department appears to be shutting down websites that facilitate copyright infringement.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has seized dozens of domain names over the past few days, according to TorrentFreak.
As one comment said, "yah like THIS will really help reduce unemployment…" At least one American gets it.

Tax Evaders

So the Daily Beast among others are reporting that Wesley Snipes gets to spend a little time behind bars for not paying taxes. Fair enough I guess. I mean why shouldn't he go to prison? Just because Democrat after Democrat is stealing money from the government doesn't mean he can.

According to the Tax Girl, Charlie Rangel has been found guilty of 11 charges. However, Rangel claimed he did not understand the tax law. As he is quoted as saying, "he didn’t understand the tax consequences because of language and cultural barriers."

Well isn't that fascinating. He didn't understand because of the language barrier. Have you ever read the tax code? I can barely understand the Tax Act and H & R block software that asks me yes and no questions. But it gets even better when the House tells us what the punishment will be as reported by the Tax Girl:
The matter now moves to the full ethics committee which will recommend a punishment for Rangel. The committee could recommend the harshest sentence, expulsion from the House, but likely won’t. Considering the language from the subcommittee, who was careful to phrase Rangel’s conduct as less than willful, a reprimand is expected.
OOOOOhhhh, wouldn't that be a shame that he might get expulsion but probably won't? So far, the only defense I have heard from Rangel is that he shouldn't get punished due to his 40 years of service. But as anyone who knows anything about ethics, Rangel should be punished more severely than the average citizen. Why? Exactly because he has served and gained the trust of the American people for 40 years. He used a position of authority in a way that holds him even more culpable than the average American.

But it doesn't stop there. We have the most brilliant man ever, the only man who could save the American economy, the now Treasurer Secretary to admit he didn't understand how to fill out his taxes, Timothy Geithner. What was his punishment?
Republicans and Democrats have indicated that the information about back taxes (which were eventually paid) would not necessary block the nomination. Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) has said he had “no problem” with Geithner while Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA) called the information “serious, and whether or not it’s disqualifying is to be determined.” With all of the buzz, it looks like it will definitely not be smooth sailing for Geithner at his confirmation hearing.
Apparently, nothing, unless becoming the Treasurer Secretary is punishment enough.

So my solution for Wesley Snipes is simple. Run for office as a Democrat. Apparently, not paying taxes while commanding everyone else to do so is a resume enhancement. Perhaps Snipes will have plenty of time to think up some new tax evasion tactics behind those bars while Rangel cries some more tears in his foreign home in the Dominican Republic.

Man Shoots TV Over Bristol Palin

So a guy decides to shoot his TV after Bristol Palin is voted to continue to the finals on Dancing With the Stars (read here). I am just waiting to find out if this guy is a Democrat and if the Media will ask him what he would do if Sarah Palin becomes President. I won't hold my breath though. And my Liberal friends can't understand why we on the Conservative side see Media bias. Can you imagine if he was a Tea Partier?

SNL: Don't Buy Stuff You Cannot Afford

I realize that some would say that although it is wrong to spend more money than you earn or possess, it strikes me odd that certain economic theories stand for the idea that government may build an economic system where the government may spend more than it takes in. This is seen as brilliant in the minds of the elite. Yet it is simply foolishness (as can be seen around the world). I think the main reason Democrats lost 60 something seats in the House is simple. Americans have come to a point that they recognize that spending trillions of dollars and committing generational theft in order to maintain the appearance of stability is morally reprehensible.

Perhaps the Progressives and the Left of this nation should watch and learn from this simple economic lesson. In fact, we all need to learn this lesson.

Quote of the Day

This has to be the quote of the day. Ann Coulter gives a different look to what Republican leadership may see.
Republican landslides are apparently inevitable whenever Democrats try to turn our health care over to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
